Scott has worked closely with middle-market businesses, private equity firms, high-net worth clients, and attorneys on a wide range of projects including purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, equity compensation, and transfer pricing. Scott has a robust background in business valuation services for clients in the technology, oil and gas, manufacturing, consumer products, healthcare, telecommunications, financial services and other industries. Prior to founding Live Oak Valuation, Scott served as a Vice President at Intrinsic Valuation in Denver, Colorado and as a Senior Associate at Herrera Partners in Houston, Texas.

The foundation for his highly analytical skill set was built early in his career, as Scott began his professional life in the field of civil engineering, designing roadways at PGAL. He also worked in Operations at Shell Oil and earned his MBA at the University of Texas as he transitioned into Finance and began focusing on business valuation in 2007.

Additionally, Scott was a walk-on member of the UT football team during his undergrad career, and maintains a passion for college football. He is also a partner at The Austin Stone Community Church and is actively involved in serving others with a particular focus on Haiti. Scott also enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
